BUSINESSNEXT Portal Runner (“the extension”) is a companion to the BusinessNext ONE workspace. It lets an AI agent operate a web portal on your behalf, in a window it opens, under the control of your own BusinessNext server, while you watch. This policy explains exactly what the extension handles and where it goes.
https://one.businessnext.com, or whatever origin you set).Your access token. The BusinessNext ONE tab you are signed into
already holds a short-lived access token. The extension relays that existing token
from the tab to its background worker so it can authenticate to your BusinessNext
server. The token is kept in chrome.storage.local (never
chrome.storage.sync), lives about fifteen minutes, and is
deleted the moment you sign out. The extension never creates,
refreshes, or transmits credentials anywhere except your configured BusinessNext
server.
The content of the page it is driving. While a task runs, the extension reads the accessibility tree and screenshots of the single window it opened and sends them to your BusinessNext server, which decides the next step and sends back the action to take. It reads only the window it opened for the task — never your other tabs.
Your settings. The server address you enter in the options page
is stored in chrome.storage.local.
All of the above is transmitted only to the BusinessNext server you configure, over an authenticated connection, solely to perform the task you asked for. None of it is sent to the extension’s developers, and none of it is shared with, sold to, or transferred to any third party.
The access token and settings live in your browser’s local storage until you sign out or remove the extension. Page content sent to your BusinessNext server during a task is governed by your organization’s own data policy for BusinessNext ONE, not by this extension.
